No, the viscosity is too high. The circulating oil is used to lubricate the bearing shells, so it’s not suitable for this purpose.
In factories, over half of the compressor circulating oils are 150#. Can they be used, ignoring the viscosity factor?
Our carbon dioxide compressors use 150# lubricant to lubricate the crankshaft, crosshead slides, connecting rods, and motor bearing shells, and the lubrication effect is good.
I added all L-DAB150 air compressor oil into the crankcase; there’s no problem, so don’t worry. The manufacturer also allows this practice
No problem, feel free to use it (if the crankcase is under pressure and contains hydrocarbons, then don’t use it; opt for synthetic oil instead)
