The Romon double-flange differential pressure transmitter shows an overload value of 485%; the ambient temperature indicated on the gauge is -40 degrees. Does this not refer to the temperature of the silicone oil? It measures the liquid level in a three-phase separator; the fluids involved are natural gas, water, and heavy hydrocarbons. In this separator, the bottom layer is water, while the middle layer consists of heavy hydrocarbons. This gauge is used to measure the liquid level of the heavy hydrocarbons. The operating temperature of the storage tank is -15 degrees. Could it be that the diaphragm box has frozen? Is it blocked again? How can one determine whether the problem lies with the flange diaphragm box, or with the capillary tube or gauge head? I would appreciate some advice from everyone.

40 refers to the ambient temperature of the transmitter body; silicone oil cannot reach such low temperatures. To achieve -15 degrees Celsius, insulation materials must be used around the capillary, and the same applies to the flange area, otherwise the measurement results will be inaccurate
Double flanges seem to give quite inaccurate readings for this type of measurement......
It's very simple. This is because ice forms on the water side, and the expansion of the ice exerts pressure on the diaphragm box, resulting in high pressure. Just blow on the pressure tapping with steam. It would be better to remove and clean it after closing the root valve.
