Difference between rolled plates and patterned plates

Question: Are rolled plates and patterned plates the same thing? It seems similar to me from the pictures. Are there any differences in performance, functionality, and applications?
Textured stainless steel sheets are produced by using mechanical equipment and molds to create textures on the surface of stainless steel, resulting in a surface with raised and recessed patterns corresponding to those of the mold, giving it a distinct three-dimensional appearance. Compared to etched stainless steel plates, embossed stainless steel plates are more suitable for large-scale processing, and their production costs are also much lower. Of course, the three-dimensional effect of embossed stainless steel plates is slightly inferior to that of etched stainless steel plates. Patterned stainless steel sheet is also known as stainless steel patterned plate or stainless steel embossed plate. The materials are mainly the two most commonly used types: 201 and 304
It’s different; patterned sheets are generally thermally formed； Roll-formed sheets are generally shaped through subsequent cold working.
