The recent campus bullying incident in Zhongguancun has sparked a high level of interest; what’s your opinion on this?
Weren’t the news today saying that this doesn’t constitute bullying?
Probably, according to the traditional views of most people, it’s normal for children to fight. It may be necessary to change this mindset, from a legal perspective. When I was in school, fights were common; there were even those who fought teachers.
On a smaller scale, if one does not study hard from a young age, it will be difficult to achieve success when they grow up; On a larger scale, if children are not taught from an early age to abide by laws and regulations and to respect the legal system, they will inevitably cause harm to society when they grow up; how can there even be talk of building a society governed by the law?
In fact, education for young children and primary school students should place more emphasis on the development of good habits, discipline, and moral values. Rather than imposing knowledge too early, so-called early education is a short-sighted practice that forces growth before it is ready.
