But this ensures there is extra money in the purse, extra wine in the jar, and extra grain in the urn. Selecting pages of pleasing old paper, I wander and chant. One should be ambitious and bold, with a resilient spirit; their features should be lively, surpassing those of thousands of officials. Even in their sixties, they should still seem young ； Desiring to become an immortal only brings about troubles. Let only the ears be free from vulgar sounds, the eyes from vulgar sights, and the heart from vulgar concerns. A few fresh flowers are interwoven haphazardly; I go to bed late and rise early, with each day of leisure feeling like two; in total, I’ve lived for over a hundred years.
