Can it be layered? They are at a certain distance from each other, but the grooves are separated and poured separately.
Looking at the building fire protection design codes and the petrochemical industry fire protection design codes, both of which are national standards, they specify requirements regarding fire separation distances; it’s not allowed either for adjacent floors! Do it according to the specifications, be careful~
I couldn’t find the fire separation distance between utility trenches. Could someone tell me where in which regulation it is specified? Thank you!
Well, it was my ignorance – I went through those two codes thoroughly yesterday but still couldn’t find any information regarding the fire separation distances for cable trenches and pipe trenches. The building codes state that they shouldn’t be placed in the same trench as pipes, while the petrochemical industry standards emphasize the need to prevent the accumulation of flammable gases in cable trenches. The so-called fire separation distances are specified for overhead lines and equipment that emit flammable gases. Ah, I’ve proven myself wrong~:'(
