The ash generated by gasification furnaces is difficult to handle. It is said that it can be used in the construction industry, but its properties do not meet the **standard requirements. Currently, some factories use this ash with a high carbon content in CFB boilers for combustion; it remains to be seen whether this ash can be utilized as backfill material in coal mines, as that would likely be a better solution.
The composition of the ash produced varies depending on the type of furnace; some of it can be used as building materials or cement, while other types that cannot be utilized are simply treated as waste. This includes the coal sludge resulting from sedimentation in our systems. Some manufacturers use this sludge in CFB boilers.
