Can a pump room be installed under the pipe gallery of Class A installations? Are there any relevant specifications?
It’s okay to place the pump there, but it seems not suitable to locate it in a pump room. It is recommended to refer to the fire safety regulations to determine what category the pump room belongs to, as there are specific requirements for its placement

I almost got it wrong – it’s fine to place pumps under the utility tunnel. I recently read a post written by Teacher Gao Dasha, in which he gave a similar example: pumps were placed under the utility tunnel, and the owner added a temporary shelter; however, this was rejected during inspections.
