(1) Synthetic foam extinguishing agent (S, -4°C) is a new generation of eco-friendly product that can be mixed with water in a ratio of 3:97 in various low-expansion foam generating devices to produce foam for extinguishing fires involving various water-insoluble flammable and combustible liquids. With the gradual phasing out of protein and fluoroprotein foam fire extinguishants, synthetic foam fire extinguishants emerged as a cleaner alternative. After rigorous pilot testing, type testing, and practical application in projects, their overall performance has proven to be superior to that of protein and fluoroprotein foam fire extinguishants. Due to its low cost, it is widely used in facilities for storing large quantities of oil to combat large-scale oil fires. (II) Solvent-resistant foam extinguishing agents (S/AR, -4°C): Water-soluble flammable liquids such as alcohols, esters, ethers, aldehydes, organic acids, and amines. Due to their high molecular polarity, these substances can absorb the water in the foam, causing it to collapse; therefore, protein foam, fluoroprotein foam, and aqueous film-forming foam cannot be used to extinguish fires involving such liquids, and solvent-resistant foam must be employed instead. It possesses good thixotropy and can be used in various low-expansion foam generators in a 3:97 ratio to extinguish fires involving flammable polar solvents, as well as ordinary oil fires. It is widely applicable to large-scale chemical plants, paint factories, solvent factories, alcohol factories, wineries, chemical warehouses, etc. (III) Water film-forming foam extinguishants (AFFF, -4°C) are suitable for various low-expansion foam generators; they are used in a 6:94 ratio. Fire suppression is achieved through the combined action of the foam and the protective film, resulting in high efficiency, rapid action, good resistance to re-ignition and sealing properties, as well as a long storage life. They are particularly effective in dealing with liquid fires caused by pipe ruptures. It is widely used in oil fields, refineries, oil depots, ships, docks, airports, underground garages, and more. (IV) Water film-forming foam extinguishing agent resistant to solvents (AFFF/AR, -4°C). This product is a low-expansion foam extinguishing agent suitable for various low-expansion foam generators; it is a versatile and highly effective foam extinguishing agent that combines the fire-extinguishing properties of both water film-forming and solvent-resistant foams. Mixed in a 3:97 ratio, it is used to extinguish fires involving flammable polar solvents, as well as ordinary oil fires. It is widely applicable to large-scale chemical plants, paint factories, solvent factories, alcohol plants, wineries, chemical warehouses, underground garages, and more.
