Does welding of dissimilar steels affect instruments?

The welding of carbon steel and stainless steel is a common example of welding dissimilar steels. Is there any issue with welding a stainless steel butt-welded orifice plate to a carbon steel pipe?
This would cause carburization and rusting of the orifice plates made of stainless steel, right? We generally use flange connections, and the flanges are treated accordingly
There’s nothing wrong with it; just choose the appropriate dissimilar steel welding material； Of course, the pressure tapping flange of the orifice plate can definitely be made of the same material as the process pipeline.
It’s usually not done this way; carburizing carbon steel can cause corrosion of stainless steel, so it’s better to use flange connections.
