Conflict between Code for Building Design 4.2.1 and Table 5.2.1 of Petrochemical Regulations? ? Code for Building Design 4.2.1: The fire separation distance between fixed-roof storage tanks holding Class A and B liquids and podiums or civil buildings shall not be less than 25 m ； However, according to the petrochemical regulations in Table 5.2.1, the fire separation distance between Class A and B liquid storage tanks and areas such as control rooms, cabinet rooms, laboratories, and offices is 15 meters. Control rooms, cabinet rooms, laboratories, and offices are also considered civil buildings; aren’t these two requirements contradictory? ? Which one did you use? ? ? Thank you!
