The newly released **list of professional qualification categories does not include automation engineers (intermediate-level automation titles). Is it simply not listed there, or has it been removed? ? ?

Wouldn’t it be great if there were no automation engineers? The instrumentation field is merely a branch within the broader electrical engineering discipline. The only certification available is that of a Registered Electrical Engineer in Automation; there are no such certifications for instrumentation professionals, and even the basic vocational qualification certificate for instrumentation technicians has been abolished
