Is there anyone who understands the hot standby for coke plant chimneys? Why is a hot standby chimney needed?
Maintain a reasonable flue draft to prevent the risk of explosion caused by residual gases failing to be discharged from the flues and combustion system in case of an accident

It has to be a hot standby system; with desulfurization and denitrification systems in place, if there’s a power outage, the waste gases from the coke ovens cannot be discharged, which can easily lead to safety accidents
The driving force for gas flow in the coke oven combustion system comes from the suction effect of the chimney, which is in turn caused by the difference in height and temperature between its inlet and outlet. Therefore, coke ovens in normal operation should always be kept in a ready state.
Should the hot standby heat exchanger be placed in the high-temperature section or the low-temperature section (in front of or behind the waste heat boiler)? Does placing it in front of the waste heat boiler affect subsequent denitration processes? If the chimney temperature is maintained at around 120, how should the required air volume and temperature be considered? (Based on a 4.3-meter rammed coke oven with an annual production of 1 million tons)
