Does a soft starter have power when there is a power outage?
When a soft starter loses power, the device loses its power supply, and thus it is not energized. There’s no electricity. When the soft starter is shut down, if the power switch is not turned off, electricity still reaches the device, leaving it energized. It’s just that the start button switch isn’t closed, so the soft starter doesn’t supply power to the electrical appliance. The electrical appliance is not working.
I forgot to mention one thing: the electrician told me that it’s the electricity stored within the soft starter itself; since this electricity wasn’t discharged to ground, there was still voltage present in the motor’s power cable when measured on site
I guess your electrical appliances aren’t installed properly; the power supply is disconnected so there’s no electricity.
