It is stated that the ultimate low-temperature tolerance for 304 is -196 degrees Celsius; this temperature is likely the one achieved after some treatment of the castings. I’m looking for the temperature when no solution treatment has been applied

Where did you learn that the castings were treated? Steel pipes, steel plates, and forgings are all fine!
