How often does a spring-loaded safety valve need to be manually drained? Can excessive emissions cause damage to the sealing surface between the valve disc and the valve seat?
Check the operating specifications and you’ll know.
Generally, it needs to be manually adjusted once every ten days or so; there is no specific specification for this pot. There will definitely be some damage, so it should be drained at around 70% of the set pressure.
It turned out that the boiler in the factory required discharge once a week; later, it became difficult to return the handle to its original position, and during regular inspections damage to the sealing surface was detected.
