Instrument calibration is divided into three categories: A, B, and C. How can one obtain the qualification for Category A instrument calibration?
It falls under Category A mandatory calibration and requires inspection by a metrology calibration institution
Class A instruments are those that require mandatory calibration, and they must be sent to a calibration institution qualified for such tasks, usually the metrology and testing agencies of the technical supervision department.
Classification by instrument or classification by instrument calibration?
Go to the metrology institute or the quality and technical supervision bureau in your province, have a calibration laboratory established there, and get their approval to issue you a certificate – that’s it. It depends on the number of species you calibrate; it could range from several hundred thousand to several tens of millions.
I agree with what was said on floor 8 – it’s not easy to obtain this qualification. You need to meet a number of requirements, and it can only be a certain type of inspection certificate. You must also get authorization from the relevant technical supervision agency, and set up an inspection laboratory in accordance with their requirements.
