Thickness of petrochemical storage tanks

What is the steel plate thickness at which a vertical storage tank should be scrapped? Is it specified in the current ** or industry standards?
There’s currently no **uniform regulation** for finding one. It should be reviewed through calculation after testing.
The Design Code for Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks in the Petrochemical Industry specifies a minimum thickness for the steel plates; it is definitely not acceptable if the actual measured thickness is less than this minimum value.
