The last edit to this post was made by Ameba on December 28, 2016, at 16:38. Hangzhou Fosda delivered the cryogenic tank modules for Shandong Guorun’s 18,000 Nm3/h air separation plant. On December 22, the 18,000 Nm3/h air separation unit project for Shandong Yantai Guorun Copper Industry Co., Ltd., which was undertaken by Hangzhou Fosda Deep Cryogenics Equipment Co., Ltd., saw the completion of the cryogenic tanks after 5 months of intensive work in design, procurement, and production. The contract for this project was signed in July 2016. It is understood that the 18,000 Nm3/h air separation project undertaken by Shandong Guorun utilizes the oxygen-enriched air separation process technology newly developed by Fosda in 2016. This process results in a lower energy consumption per unit of oxygen produced compared to traditional processes, which helps to reduce operating costs for users; as a result, it has won the approval and trust of customers. Taking into account various factors such as quality assurance, reducing the on-site installation time, and facilitating future relocation of the unit by the user, the cryogenic tank for 18,000-class air separation is designed as a combination of six skids; the main heat exchanger consists of two skids, and it is delivered in a segmented skid format. Considering the issue of oversized transport dimensions, a special design was adopted for some of the valve structures; furthermore, flange connections were used for the cold box skid sections to facilitate future relocation of the project by users.
