Dear experts, I have a vertical equipment with an atmospheric pressure silo, model DN4500, with a total height of 8000 mm. The key issue is whether the base plate of the ear mounts is above or below the center of gravity of the equipment (its empty weight or the weight associated with operation). When checking the rigid ring support in accordance with 47003.1, does the value of h1, which represents the height from the center of gravity to the support base plate, make any difference?
The support base plates are located 1000 mm above and below the center of mass; what is the value of h1 in this case?
