What is the principle behind the desulfurization passivation of conversion catalysts? ? ?

By the original poster, does it refer to passivating the used conversion catalyst? If the catalyst is no longer to be used, lower the temperature of nitrogen to below 30°C; after removing it, simply spray water to cool it down.
