Is it related to cold weather that the pilot-operated safety valve opens before reaching its set pressure? Can this type of valve be sealed only by its own pressure?
Was the safety valve calibrated (set to a specific pressure) as required before installation? If the pressure is kept constant, there should be no problems.
Check whether the actual temperature and pressure match the rated temperature and pressure.
Is there a problem with the quality of the valve, or is the spring force not properly designed?
