However, many manufacturers now use tubular conveyor belts, and it is essential to carry out thorough inspections of these belts. The joints must be checked carefully; in the event of any separation at the joints, only heat-vulcanized joints can ensure reliability, as belt buckles are not suitable for use in such situations. If the belt breaks due to use, it’s a nightmare. The conveyor belt will have to be shut down for at least a few days.
