We discharge it directly into the oily wastewater system; once the water is purified, the valve is closed immediately. The small amount of liquid hydrocarbons that are released evaporate almost completely, so it should be relatively safe!

Reply to 1# MintLife: Our seniors used to discharge everything directly into the sewage system; I am currently working on a liquid hydrocarbon project. In my opinion, it is advisable to use automatic water cutting; a vapor port should be installed on the top of the secondary water cutting tank to connect to the low-pressure gas line, with the wastewater being discharged directly into the sewage system. Since the secondary dehydration tank is at atmospheric pressure and the liquid hydrocarbons vaporize, there is generally not much liquid hydrocarbon in the wastewater, so discharging it into the wastewater system is safe.
Before entering the oily wastewater system, the drain outlet is located above the sewage well; if the drainage pipeline is completely sealed for waste discharge, how can one determine whether the water has been completely removed?
