Can 304 pipes be placed directly on pipe racks? I heard it’s not possible. .
Rubber pads can be used, or a stainless steel lining can be added to the outside of the pipe.
It is best to use rubber or PTFE gaskets, otherwise it can easily cause corrosion of the steel structural pipe racks (electrochemical corrosion)
A stainless steel sheet, or the rubber or PTFE plate mentioned above, can be placed in between to ensure that there is no direct contact.
What if the pipe rack is made of stainless steel?
