It’s raining today, so the steam insulation work, which was supposed to be completed today, might not get finished after all. The newly replaced steam pipes, with diameters of DN400+DN300, were urgently descaled and painted yesterday due to time constraints; rust was removed using a hand grinder, and two coats of anti-rust paint were applied. The results aren’t particularly good; the main reason is the lack of time. It’s a pipeline at a high altitude, and although mechanical rust removal was used, it wasn’t thorough. There’s nothing that can be done about that, but fortunately there is insulation in place.
The newly built tanks No. 3 and No. 4 have begun to undergo anti-corrosion treatment. Due to heavy fog in these days, the anti-corrosion work cannot be carried out, which has delayed the project timeline by two days. It’s urgent!

Additionally, the primer used was of poor quality, which led to problems. As a result, before the pipelines could be installed, the surface of the tanks started to bubble and peel. The manufacturer later carried out additional rust removal on some of the tanks. I’ve been using it for a year now, and problems have arisen again: the surfaces of several containers are severely blistered and peeling, making maintenance very difficult at the moment. Corrosion is very severe at our factory by the sea, haha. This is the result of saving money.
