The official name of this standard is \"Standard Specification for Piping Fittings of Wrought Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel for Moderate and High Temperature Service\"; it outlines the technical requirements for piping fittings made of wrought carbon steel and alloy steel for moderate and high temperature applications. So, are heat-formed fittings considered to be wrought as well? The manufacturing of carbon steel pipe fittings should involve welding and hot forming, right? I checked the translations of other versions and the word \"roll\" isn’t used there; is that not quite right, since it’s clearly stated in A234 that it’s made from sheet metal?
Well, it’s coming to an end on its own; it seems that “forge rolling” would be a more accurate translation
