Can any master explain the difference between neck butt welding flange and neck flat welding flange?

Neck butt welding flange, which is a high-pressure flange, has the same outer diameter as the pipe, butt welding and penetration welding ; The neck flat welding flange is a low and medium pressure flange with a trial range of 2.5MPa~4.0MPa. The flat welding flange processing interface is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe, and the pipe is inserted inside and connected to the equipment or pipe with a single-sided welding corner seam.

The main difference is that the butt weld between the former and the pipe during installation is a fillet weld, while the butt weld between the latter and the pipe is a butt weld. Different weld forms have different pressure-bearing capabilities, so the latter is generally used in high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-risk media situations.
