Regarding the issue of pipe straightness in GB50235, I have three questions for everyone: 1. How should we understand the allowable deviation of 10 mm for the overall length of the pipe’s straightness as stated in 7.3.10? 2. Does the pipe straightness value of (2L‰, with a maximum of 50) shown in Table 7.3.19 conflict with the straightness tolerance of 10 mm for the total length? 3. What does the effective length of a pipeline mean?

I understand that 7.3.10 refers to the deviation in the alignment of the pipe ends; the length of the pipe mentioned is the length of the pipe between the two welds, which is 6 meters, or maybe a little longer or shorter ； The horizontal pipe length unrelated to the weld joint, as mentioned in Table 7.3.19, refers to that value of ten meters, dozens of meters, or even hundreds of meters; of course, it cannot be too long, as excessive length would require the use of compensating bends, or natural compensations such as gantries and bends.
