In the second image, the valve is clamped together – what is being done?
Who can turn the valve on the second picture? :L

Valves of this size are generally not used in ordinary projects. However, for special projects, this requirement is not very high. For valve testing alone, there are several standard tests such as pressure testing, sealing testing, and upper sealing testing.
These valves probably aren’t cheap. :lol
So huge! The switch must not be exhausting to use
A few years ago, during a fire at a petroleum storage tank in Dalian, it was reported that firefighters turned the valves tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of times before managing to close them. I wonder how many turns such a valve needs to be turned per operation, how much time it takes, and whether there is a quick way to do it.
