Take the three-way ball valve as an example – a simple and commonly used type. In this three-way directional ball valve, the middle part is the inlet (A), while the left side (B) and right side (C) are the outlets. This valve is used to change the direction of the flow. During factory testing, A and B are connected while C is closed. 1. When the solenoid valve is powered, air enters from the left inlet of the cylinder, causing the piston to move and the cylinder to rotate in one direction; the valve core rotates 90 degrees, allowing A and C to be connected while B remains closed. 2. When the solenoid valve loses power, air enters from the right inlet of the cylinder, causing the piston to move and the cylinder to rotate in the opposite direction; the valve core rotates 90 degrees, allowing A and B to be connected while C remains closed
