I would like to ask everyone: The main medium pipeline of the reciprocating compressor experiences significant vibration. At the pressure tapping points, carbon steel socket-welded gate valves with a DN15 size are used by the piping engineering team, while the pressure guiding pipes used by the instrumentation team are made of 316 material with a diameter of 14*2. How should these components be connected in a way that is reasonable and facilitates maintenance in the future?
Generally, a DN15xφ14 fitting is provided by the instrumentation team
Is this connector type also of the socket-weld type?
It involves welding dissimilar steels, and maintenance is not easy; I’m unsure whether NPT threaded connectors can be used – will the threads also corrode?:'
