As shown in the figure, the pipe is a high-pressure steam pipe, and the fixing plate of the spring hanger is directly welded to the pipe. Personally, I think this approach shouldn’t be feasible. I wonder if there are any issues with installing it in this way? Are there any specifications that provide clear guidance on this?

This won’t work, unless the construction party provides absolutely reliable calculation documents. Otherwise, it should be selected in accordance with the support and hanger manual, using that type of crossbeam

Clamps with insulation blocks should be used to prevent the transfer of high temperatures and to slow down the corrosion of the hangers. With this direct welding method, heat is transferred to the suspension rod; due to the presence of heat, water, and air, rusting occurs very quickly.
