Do you have socket weld ball valves? It doesn’t seem to be available online; please advise, thank you!
Small-bore ball valves come in socket-welded versions; if they have a soft-seal seat, it is necessary to control the welding temperature carefully to prevent damage to the non-metallic components.
There are no socket weld ball valves; ball valves generally do not require welding, as the heat generated by welding soft-sealed ball valves can damage the valve’s seal； For welded valves, one solution is to add a straight pipe section, while another option is a hard-sealed ball valve

Yes, there are three-piece types; plug-and-weld ball valves are quite common. The pipe is inserted and welded in place, and to prevent the gasket from being damaged by high temperatures, these three pieces are removed first, then reinstalled after welding is complete. Welded joint types can also be used. We have supplied many of these to customers before.
There are many options; if it’s a soft-seal type, it’s best to have a short tube.

This post was last edited by 955559 on 2018-10-24 at 14:04. There are plenty of socket-weld ball valves with a diameter of DN50 or less; you can find whatever type you need – whether they are die-forged, cut from bars, or precision-forged.
