What type of fitting is similar to a filter in the diagram?

There is a valve assembly on the steam pipeline of the steam boiler; in front of the electric valve, there is a fitting that resembles a filter. I’m not sure what it is I’d like to ask the experts here; thank you
Shouldn’t it be a filter? Are you looking at the drawings or at what’s actually installed? Don’t the drawings have legends?
It’s a typical Y-type filter!
Y-type filter, filters impurities and protects the shut-off valve.
Is the difference between this and the previous one just in the drawing style?
