When are pipe supports used? If it’s the drainage pipe for medical equipment, can’t it be placed directly on the ground either? Do I need to support it with a bracket as well?
Not necessarily, as long as the anti-corrosion measures are properly implemented.
Piping supports should be designed based on the load carried by the pipes, right?
Drainage pipes do not require supports; supports are used to hold the pipes in place and are added depending on the layout of the pipes. Pipes laid on the floor need no supports
It’s not necessary if it’s just for drainage, but if it’s a drainage pipe with a relatively long distance to cover, it’s best to secure it with brackets
