As the title suggests, are there steam pressure regulators that only reduce pressure without stabilizing it? For example, with an inlet steam pressure of 0–8 kilograms and an outlet pressure of 0–4 kilograms, with a linear change between the inlet and outlet pressures, like a slope starting from the origin, with only the slope varying.
By adjusting it, the steam pressure relief valve can achieve the conditions you mentioned.
In other words, it is set once so that when 8 kilograms are imported, 4 kilograms are exported. In the future, the import pressure will be 4 kilograms while the export pressure will be 2 kilograms; 16 kilograms for imports and 8 kilograms for exports, and so on
To meet this condition, the load must first be constant.
I’ve never seen it; you mean that the pressure relief valve only serves to change the slope, and it shouldn’t be easy to achieve that. This should be achieved through regulation using pressure transducers or similar devices; the pressure before the valve is multiplied by a coefficient to obtain the set value for the pressure after the valve, and then PID control is used.
