I recently came across the breathing valve of storage tanks. Simply put, it operates when the tank is being filled or emptied in order to balance the pressure inside the tank. But! ! ! ! What I want to ask is: during the feeding stage, if the pressure inside the tank rises and the breathing valve operates to expel air outward, does that mean the steam above the material inside the tank is released into the atmosphere? Toxic and harmful substances do cause pollution, don’t they? Similarly, when discharging the material, inhaling inward – does that mean drawing in atmospheric air to come into contact with the material? Wouldn’t that affect the composition of the material? The principle is correct; it involves the process of exhaust and intake based on the pressure in the storage tank. But as you said, if the material cannot come into contact with air, other arrangements will be made, such as internal floating storage tanks or the use of nitrogen sealing for step-controlled operation; of course, if the exhaust gases pose a threat to the environment, they need to be sent to a pollution control tower.
