I am looking for pipes for transporting associated gas from oil fields; due to the cold weather in winter, these pipes are prone to freezing and blockage. I am seeking solutions to this issue. I’ve thought about installing heat tracing tapes around the pipes – I’m not sure if this will work. If there are manufacturers in China that produce such products, please get in touch with me. qq2453597459
Insulation with electric heating; if steam is available, use steam for heating
For pipeline heating, you can check out Wuxi Hengye – that’s where we recently purchased nitrogen heaters. The quality is pretty good; it’s a factory that has been around for over a decade
Compared to steam (hot water), electric heating offers many advantages, as follows: (1) Electric heating systems are simple in design, provide uniform heat distribution, allow for precise temperature control, and can be operated remotely, enabling automated management. (2) Heat has explosion-proof properties, can operate in all weather conditions, offers high reliability, and has a long service life. (3) There is no leakage from the electric heating, which is beneficial to environmental protection. (4) Saving steel: It does not require the two-way heating pipelines needed for steam heating. (5) Save insulation materials. (6) Save water resources, as boilers require a large amount of water every day. (7) Electric tracing can also solve problems that are difficult to address with steam and hot water tracing. (8) The electrical heating design requires less work, is easy to install, and involves minimal maintenance. (9) High efficiency, capable of **reducing energy consumption. Whether it’s a one-time investment or annual operating costs, electric heat tracing is more cost-effective than steam heating ; For some projects, the one-time investment in electric heating tapes may be slightly higher than that for steam or hot water heating, but in terms of annual operating costs, the savings generated over 1–2 years of operation are usually sufficient to recoup the initial investment.
Can’t it be separated below the dew point before transportation? What is the transmission distance? What is the distance between the wellheads?
