In what applications are corrugated globe valves used, and what are their characteristics?
Used in applications where leakage is strictly prohibited. Bellows are used for stem sealing instead of traditional packing (ring) seals.
Aren’t all materials that are generally prohibited from leaking equipped with special valves?
Used in situations where flammable, explosive, toxic, or harmful substances must not leak out
It is generally used in steam pipes, where the bellows expand due to heat, acting like a double seal. The medium will not leak along the valve stem.
Bellows globe valves are used for toxic and hazardous media; those used for Descote are quite well-known
