The head of a device has a diameter of 2 meters; the media involved are chlorine, oxygen, and water vapor, with approximately 40%, 20%, and 40% of each respectively. The operating parameters are a temperature of 400°C and a pressure of 0.2 MPa. It features an MF surface (a corrugated surface that does not allow for the use of inner or outer rings). The ordinary graphite gasket currently in use often leaks. May I ask, should wave-shaped pads, serrated pads, or covered pads be used? Still the high-temperature Fortite pad? Metal gaskets, octagonal gaskets or elliptical gaskets
Graphite high-strength gaskets or metal-clad gaskets are both acceptable.
I wonder what the condition is of the existing gasket after its seal has been removed?

It shouldn’t be a gasket issue. High temperature and low pressure: Fastening issues (even pre-tensioning is required – use torque-controlled fastening; thermal tightening is necessary as the temperature rises), operational conditions issues (whether the temperature fluctuates frequently; disc springs can be added in such cases)
The reason isn’t the cushion itself; it’s the processing and manufacturing quality of your tube sheet! ! ! You can specifically ask your engineers.
