The PPH pipe standards do not mention anything regarding resistance to negative pressure. Can PPH pipes actually withstand negative pressure, or is it related to the actual wall thickness? Please someone explain this

Whether it is possible to use such a method depends on the intensity; the calculation steps for vacuum pipes follow those specified in GB 150 for cylinders and pipes under external pressure, or according to UG-28 in Volume I, Section VIII of the 2001 edition of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, regarding the thickness of shells and pipes under external pressure. If it cannot meet the requirements, it cannot be used. There are useful plastic tubes for civilian small vacuums, but they have reinforcing steel wires. Industrial vacuums are generally made of steel pipes; I have not heard of polypropylene PPH being used as vacuum pipes. It is related to the wall thickness; it depends on the size specification you use. We previously sent a batch of products with dimensions 75*6.5/63*5.5, and those were not resistant to negative pressure. It depends on the thickness of the tube to determine what the negative pressure will be
