I would like to ask: when calculating the Cv value of a valve, with a front-end pressure of 200 kPa and the back end connected to a pipeline that leads directly to the environment, what should the back-end pressure be set to? Is it related to the inner diameter of the pipeline? It’s better to set it at around 5 kPa. Thank you
In flow field analysis, if the downstream end is connected to a pipeline that leads directly to the environment, then the back pressure should be set to atmospheric pressure
