What degrees do the elbows available on the market come in? Are there only 90° elbows? Because with just 90° elbows, users can cut and weld them together at the construction site to create elbows of any other angle – such as 30°, 60°, 45°, 135°, 180°, and so on. Another issue is that at construction sites, 90° elbows are often cut into two 45° elbows and then connected in reverse. What’s the advantage of doing this? What is the purpose behind it?
Turning corners, changing direction – very common.
It is best not to use a 90° elbow for cuts at 45° angles, as the weakest part of a 90° elbow is the cutting area in the middle.
