I’m a complete newbie in this field; I earnestly ask experienced professionals for guidance on how to determine whether pipes are oriented upward or downward in pipe layout diagrams.
Is the poster asking about the flow direction of the medium inside the pipeline? That is related to the process flow, right?
Circles drawn upward and downward are different
Find the legend and take a look to understand
First, check the elevations indicated on the elevation view; second, look at how the elbows are drawn
It mainly depends on whether there is a center point in the circle at the end of the pipe; if there is, it points upward, and if not, it points downward
