PN100 gasket

I specified a pipe class with a pressure rating of PN100, using high-strength bolts and wound gaskets. However, according to GB/T 20801, wound gaskets are required to be used with medium-strength bolts. Do I need to change to medium-strength bolts? But looking at the list in GB/T 20801, aren’t carbon steel bolts included among those of medium strength? They are all made of stainless steel, so how do you choose? I would appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!

For a pressure of PN100, grade 8.8 materials can be used. As for the material type, both carbon steel and stainless steel can achieve grade 8.8; it depends mainly on heat treatment. Carbon steel and stainless steel can also reach grade 4.8. Grade 10.9 is required before considering 35CrMo or 35CrMoA
Forgot to mention the gasket. . . There are also many types of metal wound gaskets; for high-pressure applications, it is recommended not to use the basic type, rather opting for gaskets with inner and outer rings or composite gaskets.
By following the standards, it’s possible to use a higher level in place of a lower one! The level of strength does not depend on whether it is stainless steel or carbon steel; both can achieve it!
