During the safety inspection, it was found that the gas cylinder pipelines used by a certain manufacturer were frosted. After looking up information, I came across a statement that says, \"When the valves on high-pressure pipelines are not sealed properly and cause gas to flow back, frosting often appears on the valve bodies as well as on the pipelines in the direction of the backflow.\" Dear experts, how should this statement be understood? Please explain.
As high-pressure gas diffuses into the low-pressure area due to minor leaks between valves, a process similar to vaporization occurs; this results in low temperatures in the pipelines of the low-pressure area, leading to frosting.
Similar to the evaporation process in an evaporator in a refrigeration system.
