What does the arrow on the gate valve mean?

It is generally believed that gate valves do not have a specific orientation for installation, which is why there are usually no flow direction arrows on the valve body. But recently I noticed that some gate valves do come with arrows on their bodies? Is it a flow direction indicator? Or some other meaning? Should gate valves with arrows also be installed according to the direction indicated by the arrows?
The arrow indicates the recommended direction of pressure application; generally, no arrow is needed if there is dual-sealing, but arrows may also be used in such cases
