In the cracking and hydrogenation unit, there are many sand holes in the high-temperature hot water pipes. What causes this, and how can it be prevented?
It may be pitting caused by cavitation-induced water hammer.
What material is the steel pipe made of? Pitting corrosion is likely occurring; it’s either of poor quality or the operating conditions don’t match the material properties
Carbon steel or stainless steel? Is the medium inside your pipeline pure?
