Several of the check valves have the same problem

It’s hydrophobic; if no water leaks outside the valve, it won’t function. Does water necessarily cause rust?

Check the operating temperature of your steam trap, and then select an appropriate gasket accordingly; a rubber-asbestos gasket will do – it seems that you are using a rubber gasket.
If the valve core or seat is worn, or if the sealing surfaces are scratched, the sealing surfaces need to be re-ground or a new valve core and seat must be installed. The bolts at the joint where the 2 valve seats or seat bodies meet the valve cover (valve body) are loose, causing leakage at the gasket area; replace the gasket and tighten the bolts. Damage to the gasket in the middle flange caused leakage at the joint between the valve body and the valve cover; the middle flange gasket was replaced, and the bolts of the middle flange were tightened symmetrically, alternately, in multiple passes, and evenly to prevent leakage due to uneven circumferential stress. 4. Leakage at the valve body or valve cover of the steam trap is caused by sand holes in the shell casting; the defective shell should be weld repaired or replaced.
It’s a bimetallic issue; there is leakage at the valve body and valve cover. Which manufacturer is this? If possible, we can conduct a check
